This article describes imperial ideology as system of communications. Author demonstrated on example of the British empire the processes of formation of ideology as integrating system of logical notions, artistical images, ethical norms and values. Successfully formation by British intellectual elite integrate imperial ideology provided effective communicative interaction of elites of metropoly and colonial periphery. The imperial system of communication becomes the base of stabile development of empire and effective regulating inter imperial conflicts.
